Age Criteria and Qualifications
NTPC Limited has recently released 50 Assistant Officer positions for safety in 2024. NTPC is India's largest energy company, aiming to reach 130 GW by 2032. Positions for this recruitment are to be at the E0 grade in safety. Qualified engineering degrees with a specialist diploma in industrial safety from candidates can apply for the above-mentioned post. This is part of NTPC's expansion plans to ensure safety standards across its operations.

One degree in engineering in any one of the following streams, i.e., Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Civil, Production, Chemical, Construction, or Instrumentation will be required for an Assistant Officer (Safety). And an institute recognized by this shall require a Diploma, Advanced Diploma, or PG Diploma in Industrial Safety. And the candidate should have had a minimum of 60% marks in his degree in engineering. In fact, the eligibility for selection is to be under the age of 45 years. Recruitment is done in the NTPC projects and operations to strengthen safety features.
